Default Where to find and post PVP videos

Heya, I'm relatively new to Guild Wars since I've only been playing about 3 weeks after getting off WoW. I noticed that the population for GW is pretty strong at 1 Million+ but there isn't a whole lot of media or websites for this game. For warcraft there was warcraftmovies.com and hundreds of videos, whereas in Guild Wars the largest source of multimedia files are actually this website and there are only several dozen. I was just wondering if I was missing any popular websites since I was interested in analyzing PVP strats and looking at the general trend of advanced PVP. Also I was considering eventually making my own PVP video using Adobe and Vegas when I believe my actions would be worth watching, so I wanted to know where I would post it.

Well here and there people post videos of random crap, but Guild Wars actually has a even better way for you to do what you're talking about. In fact there is something right there in the game that fits what you're wanting to see perfectly to a key. If you've just bought the game it prolly doesn't say anything about it in the manual, but if you press "B" anytime you're in a town or outpost, you can go into Observer Mode and watch recent PvP matches of high lvl Guilds. How it works is that when you press B you get a list of "Guild Battles" and "Tournament Battles". The Guild Battles are just that, Guild vs. Guild matches where one or both of the guilds are ranked 100 or better. The Tournament is the Hall of Heroes line of PvP where you advance through different PvP maps and eventually get to the Hall of Heroes PvP map. What will happen is, anytime a high rank guild plays in a PvP match, the observer mode will make it available for viewing after about 15 minutes after the PvP match began. If you select one of the matches, you'll load onto a map that replays what happened in the matches. Automatically when you enter Observer Mode there is a little check box in the top right of the screen that says Auto Camera or something similar. This uses some line of AI to automatically center the camera on "points of interest" from time to time. You can just let it move your camera around or just uncheck that box and move around by selecting key points on the minimap (press "U" if you dont have a map open in the top left of the screen) or by clicking on players to center the camera on them. When you click on a player your target bar will display what skills they are using below it so you can take note of what they use. You can zoom in or out, rotate the camera, and ask questions in the Observer chat if you like. I think it's just what you're looking for.

My post is long and chattery so if you got bored and stopped reading or I didn't explain somethin right just ask away. I'm goin to bed though so I won't be able to answer til tomorrow. There are other sources of videos like Gamespot.com and sites like that, but they're sort of like "hey look at what's new in GW" type of videos and don't really cover PvP aspects and things you can analyze. Good luck! Glad to see yet another lost soul has converted to GW from WoW

As far as posting your own stuff. I don't know if there is a site dedicated to GW movies, but if you use a site to upload it and post a link to it here on this forum we'll give it plenty of attention for ya.

Ah, did not know there was an observer mode at all since I didn't have a manual. Thanks a lot, this should keep me occupied.
